I got these as a gag gift for my brother and honestly they’re way more useful than I expected. The spring mechanism is strong enough to keep a whole bag of pretzels sealed tight, even though every time I reach into the pantry I still flinch for a second.
The spring-loaded clamp snaps shut with a satisfying click, so my chip bag stays sealed no matter how many times I reach in. I've left them on the counter twice and genuinely startled myself both times—they're that convincing.
My coworkers lost it when I clipped the bag shut and one landed right on the conference table—the spring snap is loud enough to make you jump. They're sturdier than novelty clips should be, and I’ve already used them to seal three different snacks without a single crack.
